ABOUT ASSON ABU ZARIA
Under the leadership of President Abdulwahed Abdulazeez also known as EXCELLENCY, the executive council of the 2023/2024 administration have resolved to make ASSON digital, starting with the development of a website for documentation and information broadcast. We welcome you to our student organization website where we aim to promote unity, excellence, and progress among students of Ahmadu Bello University Zaria.

As the President of ASSON ABU ZARIA, I am dedicated to providing our members with the highest quality of representation possible. We strive for excellence in everything we do, from the classroom to extracurricular activities. Our administration is committed to fostering an environment that encourages personal and professional growth, so students can reach their full potential. We take pride in providing a supportive community where students can thrive and become tomorrow's leaders.
OUR MISSION
- Our mission at ASSON ABU ZARIA is to create an inclusive and supportive community that unites all students. We believe in promoting inclusivity and respect for everyone’s unique identity. Our association provides a wide range of opportunities for students to make meaningful and lasting connections with their peers from a variety of backgrounds. We also offer support for students who need it, whether that’s financial aid or mental health resources.
EXECUTIVE COUNCIL
As the executive arm of the government, we are the driving force behind the implementation of the policies and decisions of ASSON ABU ZARIA. We collaborate with our members to ensure that we create a sustainable environment where everyone can thrive. We are constantly seeking ways to improve our effectiveness, while ensuring that we are transparent and accountable in all our actions. Our leadership is focused on achieving lasting change in our society.
THE SENATE
The legislative arm of ASSON ABU ZARIA Parliament is the cornerstone of our democracy, tasked with the important responsibility of enacting laws that serve the needs of our constituents. We recognize the trust that has been placed in us by the people we represent and take our responsibilities seriously. We believe in fostering a culture of cooperation and collaboration, working together to address the most pressing needs of our community.
